The world of Ferelden is thrown into chaos with the upcoming Blight, a heavy surge of demonic beings who herald an even more powerful being in the form of a huge dragon known as an Archdemon. The only force capable of defeating the Archdemon are the Grey Wardens. They are an elite and revered group of warriors, whom over the many years since the last Blight came to pass have all been either forgotten or dismissed. It's up to the player to become a Grey Warden and seek allies to put an end to the terror that rages throughout Ferelden.
The story is topped with immersive characters, interaction with more non-playable characters than imagined to really flesh out the world, a chance at romantic interludes, and a powerful soundtrack.
